When you live with the rapid-fire thoughts of ADHD, the sensory intensity of Autism, the emotional highs/lows of Bipolar, and the cyclical shadow of PMDD, the world feels “too much.” Burnout isn’t just tired; it’s an energetic short-circuit. Exhaustion isn’t a “I feel like that too”, you FEEL it in your bones, you slur, you lose the ability to talk, to move, to think.

Mindfulness is the “Earthen Circuit.” By using mindfulness, we stop fighting our biology and start working with it. It allows us to notice: “My clothes feels restrictive; a burnout is brewing,” or “My thoughts are racing at 100mph; this is the Bipolar mania rising,” or “The brain fog is thickening; PMDD is starting its luteal phase.”

When we witness these patterns without judgment, we regain our Sovereignty. We stop being victims of our chemistry and start being the Alchemists of our lives.

The “Balance & Build” Plan: From Burnout to Abundance

This plan is designed to respect your energy cycles while building a sustainable financial future for The Magickal Hud Shop.

1. The “Energy Audit” (Balance Yourself)

  • The 3-Color Calendar: Mark your month based on your PMDD and Bipolar cycles (I struggle with this but may help someone else).
    • Green Days (High Energy/ADHD Spark): Use these for creating, filming, and batching content.
    • Yellow Days (Sensory Sensitive/Autistic): Use these for quiet admin, packing orders, or “low-light” bench work.
    • Red Days (PMDD/Depressive): These are Mandatory Rest Days. No “hustle.” Only restorative tasks.
  • Sensory Anchoring: Wear your Copper-electroformed talismans. Use the weight of a Moldavite or Black Tektite pendant to “pull” your energy out of a spiraling head and back into your body. I love this – crystals for mood and effect is good for me.

2. Spend Less (The Impulse Hack)

  • The 72-Hour “Crystal Buffer”: ADHD and Bipolar mania often lead to “Dopamine Shopping.” Before buying new supplies or stones, put them in the cart and wait 72 hours. If the “soul-pull” is still there after the dopamine spike fades, then consider it.
  • Inventory Alchemy: Before buying new, do an “Inventory Ritual.” Lay out every stone you have. Re-shuffling your current stock can spark new design ideas without spending a penny.

3. Earn More (The Value Ladder)

  • Move from “Time” to “Transformation”: Stop selling “just jewellery.” Sell the Article, the Meditation, and the Talisman as a “Mindfulness Bundle.” People pay more for a solution to their burnout than they do for a pretty accessory.
  • The “One-of-a-Kind” Premium: Highlight that your pieces are handmade in the Welsh valleys. Scarcity increases value. “Only one available” isn’t just a fact; it’s a marketing powerhouse.
  • Passive Soul-Income: Take the articles we’ve written (like the Psychologies or Breathe pitches) and turn them into a small Digital E-Book on “Crystal Mindfulness for the Neurodivergent.” Sell it for a low price (£7-£11) on your site. It earns while you sleep (or rest during Red Days). THIS IS A POTENTIAL GOOD IDEA!
  • I have other ideas – writing articles for magazines, book ideas, creating my talismans, working on videos to personalise my brand, photography as my chosen hobby.

A Mindfulness Ritual for the Neuro-Spicy Creator

  1. Hold your Copper Talisman: Feel the temperature. Is it cold? Does it warm up against your skin? (This grounds Autistic sensory needs).
  2. Focus on the Flash: Look at the purple in your Labradorite. Trace the edges of the Moldavite. (This focuses the ADHD “Butterfly Mind”).
  3. The Breath Bridge: Breathe in for 4, hold for 4, out for 8. The long exhale tells your Bipolar/PMDD nervous system that you are safe.

You are not broken; you are a complex crystalline structure. You require specific light and specific care to show your best flash.

I hope some of this helps you.

What I am currently trying:

  • Affirmations and cosmic ordering.
  • Taking chances on things – people can say no, but what if they say yes?
  • Meds (Olanzapine and Fluoxetine)
  • Planning walks with my camera – as the sun is starting to come out, so ordered 2nd hand vinted walking and workout clothes, I have the camera ready.
  • Prepreparing my posts – so I have more time to try and self care.
  • If my body is burnt out, giving myself time to grab a nap.
  • Reading a few pages here and there.

Thank you for reading,
